Aitienpaivaruusuksi vapaapaiva pakolaisaidille"Mothers´s day off from the refugee camp" -project
There are about 450 000 Palestinian refugees living in 11 camps in Lebanon. NISCVT has activity centres in 10 camps. The team of social workers and kindergarten teachers and volunteers organize educational, social and recreational activities for children and families.
"Do you know that some women have never left their camp since they were born and others have rarely been to any touristic site of Lebanon? In view of such a stressful life they rejoice upon hearing that a nice trip is organized especially for them away from the stress of their daily life." Organizing the trips:
1-2 trip/center/year
Places to visit can be eg the snowy mountains during the winter, Baalbeck, Anjar, Tripoli, Bechari, the Cedars in Ihden, Al-Barouk, Beit Eddine, Deir el Qamar, Al-Safa, Al-Kassi, Al-Karaoun, Saida, Byblos, Harissa, Jeita cave, Jizine, Tyre.
Costs:
Transportation, lunch, entrance fee 15 e/participant
Tallaista toimintaa BASilla aitien hyvinvoinnin eteen. Tassa vihje henkiloille, jotka haluavat antaa aitienpaivaruusun pakolaisleirin aideille. 15 euroa retki yhdelle aidille, 525 eurolla bussilinen aiteja matkaan.
