Erityistä tukea tarvitsevien lasten ja nuorten palvelut palestiinalaisperheille Libanonissa – vuosiraportti tehty

Erityislapsihankkeesta siirrettiin valtionavustusta 4022 euroa vuodelta 2015 vuodelle 2016. Avustuksen turvin 10 lasta saattoi jatkaa erityiskoulun lukuvuoden loppuun. Kehitysyhteistyövarojen leikkausten vuoksi anottuja varoja 60-80 lapsen erityisopetukseen ei saatu.

Tänään UM:n tuen jäännöserä vuodelle 2016 on raportoitu. Raportit laitetaan UM:n sähköiselle asiointitilille ja painetaan ”pane vireille” -nappia.

Raportissa on lyhyt kuvaus hankkeesta englanniksi:

This report concerns results of he continuation project aid from 2015 (4022 €) to 2017 for our Palestinian partner The National Institution of Social Care and Vocational Training in Lebanon. With this support ten children with multiple special needs (MSN) could continue the spring semester 2016 in their special schools. They were 7 boys and 3 girls, followed up in Beirut, Saida and El-Buss (Tyre) Family Guidance Centers. They studied in 4 different special schools. The tuition fees or part of them were paid in January (4), February (4) and March (2) 2016.

FiPSR intensified the recruitment of new individual sponsors for MSN-children. They secured the continuation of special education and follow-up to their own sponsored children, but around 60-80 children could not get support because of the cut of Ministry support. The results gained by the support in the years 2013-2015 are very good: children’s progress, satisfaction and relief of parents, improved parenting quality, The attitudes of reluctant family members and relatives turned positive when they saw the progress of the children. In addition, the enlargement of the service network for children with disabilities was a remarkable development. The visibility of the children with MSN in the society increased positively. The main service provider for Palestinians UNRWA was informed about the results of this complementary and gap filling project by the support of Finland’s development aid. (9.11.2016)
